The Wild side: In the movie The Host, from Twilight author Stephanie Meyer, the world has been invaded by an unseen enemy. Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact and continue their lives apparently unchanged. Most of humanity has succumbed.

Story

The Host may become a success because; it is based on a novel from Twilight creator Stephenie Meyer, and from the same director as Gattaca, and stars Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan (try to pronounce that if you're not Irish.

The Host may be a box office bomb because; it is not a movie about vampires and werewolves, it is from the same director as the box office bombs Lord Of War and S1m0ne, and from the movie studio Open Road, which has yet to produce a box office hit.
